Privacy, plainly
Mileage Ninja is built to help travelers understand status math without turning their loyalty history into an ad product.
- We do not sell itinerary, status, loyalty, or flight-history data.
- Tester analytics are first-party product telemetry only.
- No Google Analytics, Meta pixel, or third-party tracking pixel is installed by default.
- Telemetry intentionally avoids route strings, destination strings, and trip notes.
- Affiliate/card recommendations, if added later, must be disclosed and must not change the underlying math.
What tester tracking records
During beta, we record product-level events such as app opened, Plan Trip opened, program changed, account actions, and trip lifecycle actions. This helps us find friction without reading someone’s travel life.
What app data may store
If you save data in the cockpit, Mileage Ninja may store the trip/status information needed to sync your account across browsers and devices. That operational data is separate from analytics.
Current promise
Collect the minimum useful data, explain why it exists, and keep cross-program intelligence useful without making users the product.
This is a beta privacy note, not a lawyer-polished policy. It should get stricter and clearer before a broad public launch.
